Ethnic Samples
Are your clients involved in ethnic-based research? Or maybe you have to provide a sample that has been refined to focus more closely on one or many ethnic groups within a specific geographic area. In either case, we have the tools needed to provide what you need.
The Ethnic origin sampling methodology provides samples that improve incidence when your survey respondents must be members of a specific ethnic group.
ASDE offers you two ways of obtaining such samples.
- By targeting geographic areas where there is a high incidence of the desired ethnic group. This methodology is described in the “Census Overlay” section of this site.
- By using a list of ethnic surnames to filter a random selection of phone numbers. ASDE has compiled such surname lists using an assortment of readily available ethnic surname lists as well as some client provided lists.
