Software issues

Do you provide any in house sampling software solutions?
  • Yes, we have an installable in house sampling software solution. We offer the only Canadian package. For full details on this solution, please consult the sampling software page.
I just installed the latest software update and each time I run the software, it prompts me for a new license key.
  • Reboot your computer. This should fix the problem. If not, then contact ASDE for help in resolving the licensing issue.
The software is not working and I need a sample in a hurry.
  • That is not a problem, all you need to do is contact us. Our policy is to get you the sample immediately at no charge and then fix your software. (Contact ASDE)
Can I install the ASDE Survey Sampler software using the most recent CD?
  • No. The CD only contains updated versions of certain files. To install the sampling software, you must contact us for assistance. Some files are only available directly from ASDE once we are certain you are authorized to run the software.
I just installed ASDE Survey Sampler software and I am getting an error # 53.
  • This means that an important security file used by the software is missing. This missing file contains unique information about your company and is necessary for the software to run. ASDE provides this file for you when you first subscribe and you can obtain another copy by contacting ASDE.
My program is not generating the sample (the progress bar is not moving).
  • This means that an important security file used by the software is expired. Contact ASDE for more information.
My sample contains records that seem wrong for the geographic area I selected.
  • Let us know immediately if anything seems unusual and we will do whatever is necessary to repair the problem. We also rely on our client’s field expertise to fine tune the software and underlying frames. No frame is ever perfect and this situation may occur once in a while. As with any problem or possible problem with any of our services, we need to know about them in order to fix them.
